Christmas 2009 was celebrated by the Ladies's Night Circle at the festive home of Jan Hall as we studied the rituals in the Book of Joshua while surrounded by symbols of Christ's birth.
Sally Espy hostessed the annual Christmas luncheon for all church women.

We're all friends. So why two groups of women in such a small church?
Both women's groups use the same Bible study guide for their annual focus.
Day meetings include more church business and traditional Bible study. Members are Presbyterians from Marfa and Fort Davis. The Night Circle is fellowship-based, anchored by women of all denominations with informal Bible study drawn from Presbyterian material.
Both groups work for common causes. We support the same charities and assist equally in church meals and activities.

The Presbyterian Women of the Presbyterian Church (USA)
celebrate over 200 years of fellowship in the service of Christ.
(We're not all Presbyterians, either!)

Greetings from your Tres Rios/ Mountain Cluster Coordinator,
As you may or may not know, Sara Pierce has resigned as the Mountain Cluster
Coordinator. I pray that I can get to know all of you as well as she did.
She considered each of your friendships a blessing. I will be contacting
each PW group in the next few months and arranging to visit with you.
I can't wait to see my "already" friends and meet my future friends!
If you have any questions, please email
or call me. My phone number is 432-426-3274.
Blessings,
Linda Allen
